Gaga is a term that immediately refers to absent mindedness. Here are some synonyms taken from a thesaurus:
•Given to lighthearted silliness: empty-headed, featherbrained, flighty, frivolous, frothy, giddy, harebrained, lighthearted, scatterbrained, silly. Slang birdbrained, dizzy.
•Afflicted with or exhibiting irrationality and mental unsoundness: brainsick, crazy, daft, demented, disordered, distraught, dotty, insane, lunatic, mad, maniac, maniacal, mentally ill, moonstruck, off, touched, unbalanced, unsound, wrong.
“Gaga” is probably the easiest word to say in the English language, as it is often the first sound emitted by babies trying to imitate speech. So her name basically says: I’m a lady and I’m empty-headed. This empty head can filled with any crap you want. Imitate me young people. This state of mind is achieved after successful mind control.
Her name is also said to be inspired by Queen’s song “Radio Gaga

The Real Prince of Persia
Finally the moviemakers are getting it, right? We want big action big effect big-time battles in our films that take us away from our everyday lives and transport us to…
Well, name your place. Hogwarts, Sherwood Forest, Pandora, and so many other places are just plain awesome to visit for a few hours and have our imaginations captured and entertained.
And now you can go back in time to 6th Century B.C. Persia in a movie called Aladdin…wait, I mean Prince of Persia. It’s about a street rat who gets adopted by a king and saves the day from an eeeeevil eyeliner wearing dude named Jafar…sorry, I mean Nizam.
Christians in Malaysia not fighting for usage of 'Allah as it is already been using 4-500 years already. No one has right to change one's language usage.
This is a misconception the leader of nearly all the 2.5 million Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox Christians in Malaysia has been trying to correct.
Christian Federation of Malaysia Chairman Ng Moon Hing stressed that the Malay word for God is as much a part of the languages of indigenous Christians as it is a part of the language Muslims use.
"Native Malaysians have been using 'Allah' for centuries and now you are saying they cannot any longer," he said to The Christian Post on the sidelines of a recent meeting of Anglican archbishops in Singapore.
"It's not a fight for it; it's just that it has been part and parcel of their religious and social life."
Native Malaysians who are neither Muslim nor Christian also use "Allah," the bishop pointed out. Thus, the "Allah" dispute is not a religious issue, he stressed.
It is essentially one community defining language for another community, and one religion telling another to change their Scripture, he suggested.
"It's not right to change another people's language," Ng said. "If the people themselves want to change it, let them change it themselves… no one should change another people's language.
"I think that is a universal right … so I don't think we are fighting for any rights," he said. "There is no intention to fight."
Nine native people groups, who make up 60 percent of Christians - over one million people - in Malaysia, have been using "Allah" for nearly half a millennium without controversy.

U.S. evangelicals gather to pray for creation care-Evangelical leaders from several prominent organizations gathered on Capitol Hill Tuesday to pray, repent and sing about creation care.
Galen Carey, director of government affairs at the National Association of Evangelicals, prays at the first National Day of Prayer for Creation Care on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in Washington, D.C
The afternoon rally at the Upper Senate Park was among several events that took place for the first-ever National Day of Prayer for Creation Care.
“We pray today especially for those who suffer because of our mistreatment of your world,” prayed Galen Carey, director of government affairs at the National Association of Evangelicals, on Tuesday.
“May we be your faithful servants and may we your people lead the way that others will see not only how to care for your good creation, but will come to know you as their loving creator through the witness of our lives and deeds,” he said.
Banning alcohol advertising will reduce alcohol abuse, says senate candidate
Family First Senate Candidate for Queensland Wendy Francis says a common sense approach to tackling alcohol abuse among young people would be to ban alcohol advertising altogether.
The Senate Candidate says tobacco advertising has been banned because of the destructive health risk, and alcohol is no less a risk, particularly among young people.
“Drinking alcohol is often portrayed in advertising as a glamorous pastime associated with happy socialising. Advertising, however, doesn't mention that alcohol is the main drug of abuse in this country, producing problems of epidemic proportions,” says Wendy Francis.

THE SCRIPTURES
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the infallible Word of God, verbally inspired by God, without error, deception, or contradiction. We believe the Bible has God for its author, redemption through Christ as its theme, and salvation for its end. We believe that God’s intentions, commands, and truth as revealed in the Bible, are the supreme and final authority in all areas that it addresses, both directly and indirectly. Therefore, we believe the teachings of Scripture are the supreme standard by which all human conduct, truths, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.

We are not punished for porn, but by porn, says sobering porn addict
A recovering porn addict, Shellie likened porn to roadkill.
"Nobody wants to admit they look at roadkill but we all do," she said Wednesday.
Shellie was addressing an online audience from around the world during "ThePornEvent.com," a 25-minute experience that is being put on by XXXChurch.com and LifeChurch.tv through this week.
While some participants intentionally joined the event to hear about how pornography affects nearly half of Internet users, others were directed to the online experience while searching for porn.
"Is it porn or religus (sic)?" one user asked in a live chat that went on during the event.
Porn users were encouraged by other participants to stay for the short event even though it might not have been what they were initially searching for. Some typed out prayers for those who said they consumed pornography and saw no problem with it.
While many porn users feel there is nothing wrong with viewing porn, Shellie of XXXChurch.com stated clearly, "We were never supposed to be watching anyone have sex."

Townsville nurse serves in West Africa, answers a call from God
“A friend at work was talking about the work done by volunteers serving with Mercy Ships, but I disregarded the thought of being involved until that thought kept nagging at the back of my mind,” says Townsville nurse Sarah George.
Sarah spent ten weeks onboard the world’s largest charity hospital ship in the West African nation of Togo, working as part of the ship’s eye team restoring sight through free cataract surgery to the people of that country. She was one of more than 400 volunteer crew members onboard, drawn from 40 nations, all travelling at their own expense and giving of their time and talents to provide a range of health and community development services to some of the world’s poorest people.
Is it Okay for Christians to Engage in Premarital Sexual Relations Before Marriage?
Common "wisdom" says that living together in a "trial marriage" is a good way to determine if couples are compatiblebefore marriage. A companion paper, based upon scientific studies, shows that this idea is false. Many Christians seem to have bought into the secular idea that as long as one is "in love" it doesn't matter if couples live together (and engage in premarital sex). The problem is that many times "love" fails, and Christians end up moving from one relationship to another. This paper examines what the Bible says about living together before marriage, for those who claim to be Christians. Continue Reading to know what the bible said.

Paul Washer sermon that shocked Parents and Youths
Here’s the sermon that often doesn’t get Paul Washer invited back. And no, it’s not because he’s boring. Washer preaches with clarity and passion. The reason Washer has caused such an uproar in some places is because he makes a frontal attack on some of Evangelicalism’s most sacred cows: Assurance of Salvation, and sincerity in “making a decision” for Christ.
Washer pulls no punches. Nor does he just attack for the sake of attack. He attacks these forms of Evangelical religion like a surgeon attacking a cancer. He dissects and explains.
Washer rails against how Evangelicals are so quick to proclaim people ‘believers’. One of the most damnable practices in the church is when a person doubts their salvation, they are usually taken back to that day when they “made a decision” for Christ and “asked Jesus into their hearts”, neither of which are statements found in Scripture (apart from a poor hermeneutic). We are often guilty of giving people a false assurance that is based more on the ‘sincerity’ of their decision than on the presence of a transformed life. Washer claims this tactic sends countless people to hell. At the very point that a person may be coming to Christ with a legitimate doubt about salvation, we kill off that work with a sloppy proclaimation of false salvation.
Washer broadsides contemporary evangelistic practices, including child evangelism and Sunday School programs. He says he would not put his children in 80% of the Sunday school programs, because the gospel presentations we give to children are so seriously distorted they border on heresy.
This message needs to be preached to every church in America. The congregations response would serve as a good litmus test of spiritual health.

The Inside Story on Defilement (Mark 7:14-23)
Well I don’t really think that psychologists any longer are interested in trying to defend the fact that extraordinary evil is only done by some sort of extraordinary human beings who are outside the pale or normalcy. I think that’s gone by the wayside. I think we’re pretty well acquainted with the fact that seemingly normal people can do things that are horrendously evil. Seemingly normal people are engaged, if not in the purveying of evil in being entertained by things that are vile and wretched. I think we now know that evil is pervasive throughout our society and that even ordinary people can do things that are extraordinarily corrupt.
All of that came clear to a psychologist by the name of James Waller in the year 2002. He published a psychological book, the title of it, Becoming Evil....Becoming Evil. The subtitle, How Ordinary People Commit Genocide and Mass Killing. The thesis of the book is that extraordinary evil can be done by what are apparently ordinary people, that extraordinary evil does not arise out of some human abnormality but rather extreme evil can be done by very common, normal people. That’s the unsettling results of the study that is behind the book, extraordinary evil arises from ordinary people. There’s no way to escape that anymore and that is correct.
But that poses the question: What causes this? Why does it happen? Where does it come from?

The Pattern for Biblical Fellowship, Part 1
I want to talk to you about the doctrine...what the Bible teaches about fellowship...fellowship. You might not think that fellowship is a doctrine, but it is. It’s a clear teaching of Scripture. Doctrine is just a stiffer word for teaching, I guess you could say. So we want to talk a little bit about fellowship, what fellowship really is. Fellowship is a word that’s been thrown around the church as long as I can remember, having been raised in a church as a pastor’s kid. I always...I always heard the word “fellowship,” virtually every church I was ever in had a place called Fellowship Hall. I assumed that whatever happened in that place was fellowship because that was Fellowship Hall. And my definition of fellowship had to do with stale cookies and red punch and the smell of old coffee because that seemed to be what went on in that place.

Declining donations force churches to adjust strategies
Even as First Baptist Church of Dallas launches a $115 million capital campaign, the most ambitious ever for a large Protestant church, congregations across the country struggle to pay everyday bills.
Nearly 40 percent of U.S. churches experienced declines in church giving and offerings in 2009, the second consecutive year of significant funding drops, according to the 2010 State of the Plate surveys conducted by the Maximum Generosity ministry and Christianity Today International.
After the October 2008 stock market plunge, 29 percent of churches reported declines in giving. In 2009, 38 percent of churches responding to the survey had experienced declines.
"What normally happens is a downturn hits churches about six months after it hits everyone else, and it takes about six months after the recovery starts for churches to see that," said Simeon May, chief executive officer for the Richardson-based National Association of Church Business Administration.
Who killed Princess Diana? Christian View about Gossip
Everybody was pointing fingers, but as is usually the case, none of those fingers ever pointed at the responsible parties. Some blamed the driver, who was found to have more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. Certainly Diana herself was partially responsible because of her lifestyle. Much focused on the press and specifically the paparazzi, the photographers who chase famous people just to photograph them. There were conspiracy theories - not worth mentioning specifics. Some were blaming the gossip tabloids for paying large sums of money to the paparazzi. Continue Reading to see what the bible said.
'American Idol's' Christian connection
Season 5 "American Idol" alum and two-time Grammy nominee Mandisa. (Myshel Wilkens / May 23, 2010)
Mega-churches across the country's heartland have served as the training grounds for many of the Fox show's contestants, with parishioners doing their part with prayers and text votes.
She isn't employed by the show and viewers never see her sparring with Simon Cowell. But Leesa Bellesi exerts her own kind of pull on "American Idol," Fox's top-rated singing contest that has a unique if often-unstated link to Christian churches.
Bellesi, who runs a Christian nonprofit in Lake Forest with her ex-pastor husband, visits tapings frequently, has befriended numerous finalists and helps wrangle funds and scout temporary housing for families who trek cross-country to see relatives perform on "Idol." Bellesi said that churches form a base for the young singers as they try to win votes and establish fan bases. Half of the Top 10 last season were worship leaders in their churches, she said.

Anger over first U.K. TV abortion advert
Andrea Minichiello-Williams believes advertising abortions on television should not be allowed.
The head of the Christian Legal Centre has condemned plans to air the first ever TV advertisement for abortion services.
Marie Stopes is set to make TV history when it advertises its abortion services on Channel 4 at 2210 GMT on May 24. The advert asks 'Are you late?', referring to women who may have missed a period, and will then run throughout June.
It is being broadcast as part of a wider campaign by the registered charity to “confront the taboo of abortion”.
The plans have upset pro-life and Christian groups, who are considering legal action to halt the broadcast of the advert.
Jennifer Knapp confirms sexuality ahead of album release
Award-winning Christian music artist Jennifer Knapp has returned from a seven-year hiatus with a bang.
Aside from touring with provocative singer-songwriter Derek Webb and preparing for the release of a new album, Knapp is confirming what some had for years suspected – she’s gay.
In interviews with The Advocate, Reuters, and Christianity Today – all published Tuesday – Knapp spoke openly about her sexuality while making it clear that she is not a pro-gay activist or even a self-described lesbian despite being in an eight-year relationship with a woman.

Uzbekistan Jails Protestant Christians
An assistant pastor and two other members of one of Uzbekistan capital's largest Protestant churches began serving 15-day jail terms Wednesday, May 19, on charges that included "violating" strict religious regulations of the former Soviet nation, trial observers said.
Three other Protestants of the Church of Christ in Tashkent were each fined 80 times the minimum monthly wage, and two other Protestants were fined five times the minimum monthly salary, said well-informed advocacy group Forum 18.
Additionally, Judge S. Asharmatov at Tashkent's Mirzo-Ulugbek District Court ordered that six computers taken during this week's police raid on the church be given to the state while seized Christian literature must be destroyed, Christians explained.
Churches Destroyed In Nigeria Kano State
Nigeria's Kano, Yobe, and Borno States has seen more sectarian violence and attacks against Christians.
Muslim extremists destroyed several churches and a pastor's house in the latest religious violence to hit Nigeria's northern Kano state, church representatives and rights activists said Friday, May 21.
One of the buildings and the pastor’s house were set ablaze on the premises of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) at Kwasam, in the Kiru Local Government area, while another building under construction was demolished, the church said.
Local Christians estimated that over 100 young people were involved in this week's attacks in the predominantly Muslim area.

Morocco Expels 100 Christian Foreigners
Foster parents of orphans of Village of Hope orphanage were among those forced to leave.
Morocco has expelled 100 foreign Christians since March because they allegedly tried to convert Muslims, the harshest crackdown in decades, Worthy News learned Saturday, May 22.
Morocco's Islamic Affairs Minister Ahmed Toufiq said in published remarks that the deportations, were needed for "order and calm" and to avoid a clash between faiths.
The latest expulsion was that of Spaniard Francisco Paton Millan, the head of a small energy company, who was ordered last week to leave the country for trying to convert Muslims to Christianity, church workers and European diplomats said.
Western diplomats and Christian rights investigators also said that authorities had ordered 23 foreigners to leave last week and that this was part of a new wave of such expulsions.
There was reportedly at least one American citizen among them. The list of deportees also includes citizens from the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Guatemala, Columbia and Korea, rights activists said.

In the aftermath of the General Election, Christians are being called to pray for the new Parliament and Government.
As the incoming Government gets to grips with the challenges facing the country and Members of Parliament take their seats, many for the first time, the Evangelical Alliance said now was a key time to support them in prayer.

Church grieves for Air India crash victims
Friends and relatives of victims of an Air India Express plane crash attend a prayer meeting at a church in Mangalore, in the southern Indian state of Karnataka
The Catholic Church has expressed its sorrow over the deaths of 158 people who died when an Air India flight crashed in Mangalore on Saturday.
President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India, Cardinal Oswald Gracias, said in a message of condolence that the Church in India was grieving over the "great loss of life in the air tragedy".
"We are aware that words cannot take away the grief, sorrow and pain, but we offer our prayers and solidarity to the families," he said.
"The Church prays that those who have survived this ordeal may soon recover.
"We extend all support to the survivors to enable them to cope and recover, and to help them in all ways possible.

Iran drops apostasy charges against women converts
Maryam Rostampour and Marzieh Amirizadeh, who were freed on Saturday
Two female converts in Iran were acquitted of all charges and arrived safely in another country on Saturday.
Maryam Rostampour and Marzieh Amirizadeh were cleared of apostasy, anti-state activities, and participating in illegal gatherings, according to Elam Ministries, an Iran-focused ministry that has followed the case since the beginning.
Iranian authorities warned the women that they faced serious consequences if they continue their Christian activities in Iran.
Rick Warren tells fake Christians to find another church
Pastor Rick Warren has a message for the some 20,000 people who attend Saddleback Church: If you want to remain a passive Christian, find another church.
During his weekend sermon, Warren laid out a plan for Saddleback's next "Decade of Destiny" in which he's anticipating exponential growth. And the plan has no room for fake Christians, he indicated.
Billy Graham 3rd generation family weeklong community events.
A weeklong community event called "Reality" has drawn Christian leaders and local churches together in an effort to reintroduce Jesus Christ to a country that has become increasingly secular.
"I heard many comments that this was one of the first times that they had all the local churches working together on a single evangelistic outreach," said Graham, according to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
